Medium Chain Triglycerides Oil

Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) Oil is a clear, odorless, highly stable emollient and nutritional oil whose main component is caprylic/capric triglyceride (caprylate/caprate glycerides). MCT is a colorless to slightly yellow transparent liquid with excellent oxidative stability, low unsaturated fatty acid content, good solvency with vitamins and many oils, and superior spreadability and lubricity compared with common fats. It is widely used in food, nutritional supplements (including medical/clinical nutrition), cosmetics and personal care (as an emollient, solvent and carrier), and some industrial applications. MCT is easily absorbed and metabolized by the body, making it suitable as an energy source and as a formulation ingredient to improve texture, solubility and sensory properties.
