Isooctyl Laurate

Isooctyl Laurate (1505) is a clear, light emollient ester used in cosmetic, personal care and industrial applications. In personal care it functions as a skin conditioner, emollient, dispersing agent and lubricant, providing excellent spreadability, a pleasant non‑greasy skin feel and good pigment dispersion (useful in foundations and lip products). In industrial applications it can act as a lubricant, brightening or anti‑stick agent (e.g., in cutting oils, textile oils, rust preventives and leather processing). It is chemically stable, has low irritation potential and mixes well with organic solvents and most cosmetic oils.
