Paints & Coatings
The catalyst can be act as a dryer in paints, enamels, varnishes, printing inks, provides better yellow resistance than standard fatty acids in the synthesis of alkyd resins. The product is ideal for stoving enamels and two-component coatings.
Our acids can be regarded as a major raw material in polyols used in synthetic lubricants.
PVC & PVB Stabilizers
2-ethylhexanoic acid and can solve polar metals in oil and other nonpolar substances and preparations. In plastics, it serves as a stabiliser, based on barium, cadmium, tin, and strontium.
Metal derivatives are used as plasticizers in the manufacture of polymers. Those obtained by di-glycols, tri-glycols, and polyethylene glycols, are excellent plasticizers for PVC, nitrocellulose, chlorinated rubber, and propylene.
Our acids act as a corrosion inhibitor in replace of silicates for coolants.
